Mr. Murphy joined Brackett Company in 2007 in the leasing and brokerage department.  His primary responsibility is to assist with the leasing and brokerage of Brackett Company’s medical and office portfolio.  Mr. Murphy specializes in both Tenant and Landlord representation services. 

Prior to joining the company in 2007, Mr. Murphy spent time working for various financial advisory firms including U.S. Trust Company, Morgan Stanley, and Trusco Capital.  At each of these firms, he advised high net worth individuals and institutions on asset allocation, risk management, and expense controls.

Mr. Murphy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.  He is a Greensboro, North Carolina native and spent many years in Atlanta, Georgia.  He is on the Board of Directors for the Community Culinary School of Charlotte and a member of Succession. He is licensed to sell real estate in North Carolina.
